TOURISTIC DIYARBAKIR EXPRESS STARTED ITS FIRST TRIP FROM HISTORICAL ANKARA STATION
The Touristic Diyarbakır Express, which will serve on the Ankara-Diyarbakır Railway Line, started its first service from the Historical Ankara Station.
The train was sent off on its maiden voyage with the participation of Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Veysi Kurt, General Manager of TCDD, Cevat Engin Şahin, Central Anatolia Regional Representative Board President, and protocol members.
Malatya Deputy Governor Talat Tabur and TCDD officials welcomed the passengers at Malatya Station. Passengers had the opportunity to visit the city during the 3-hour break.
In Diyarbakır, the passengers were welcomed by our Vice President Hasan Eker and Board Member Mehmet Akyıl, Diyarbakır Deputy Governor İlyas Öztürk, Diyarbakır Provincial Culture and Tourism Director Sabahattin Genç, Diyarbakır Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Mehmet Kaya and representatives of non-governmental organizations.
On its return route, the train stopped at Elazığ and Kayseri stations before reaching Ankara again.
