ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE APPLICATION PERIOD FOR WORK PERMIT EXEMPTION FOR FOREIGNERS

With the attached letter dated 08.05.2023 and numbered 217636 of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, General Directorate of International Labor Force;
For foreigners within the scope of work permit exemption regulated in the Implementation Regulation of the International Labor Law, applications continued to be received online at https://emuafiyet.csgb.gov.tr as of 01/10/2022,
Domestic work permit exemption applications must be made within thirty (30) days at the latest from the date of entry of the foreigner into Turkey, provided that the visa or visa exemption period is not exceeded,
On the other hand, work permit exemption applications will be made to the Turkish foreign representation in the country where the foreigner is a citizen or legally resides abroad, and the applications made to the Turkish foreign representation will be forwarded to the Ministry through the system, in this context, foreigners who will apply for work permit exemption from abroad should apply for work permit exemption with the necessary documents within the 30-day period, which is the validity period of the 16-digit reference number, which they will obtain from their foreign representations, through the work permit exemption system,
It is also reported that the 30-day application period is not observed for foreigners who are in our country with a valid residence permit.
